Background Information

Thomas Ahlström, M. Sc. (Econ), born 1958, is the founder and Managing Partner of Helmi Capital Ltd. He has worked in the financial services industry since 1983. He was employed by Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken for nearly 22 years where he held various leading positions in Helsinki, London, and Sydney. His experience includes, inter alia, International Capital Markets, Client Relationship Management,Transaction Management, Real Estate financing, Private Equity, Fixed Income and Asset/Liability Management.

He has a solid understanding of a wide range of financial instruments used by demanding international large corporates and institutions, as well as wealthy private individuals.

In addition to his daily work, Thomas has held some board positions, such as A Ahlström Oy (1997-2001), Gyllenberg Asset Management Ab and Ane Gyllenberg Ab (2003-2004), Ahlström Capital Oy (2001-2007) Ahlstrom Oyj (2007- ), Kontanten AB (2007- ), Eurocash Finland Oy (2007- ) and Advisum Oy (2007- )
